Berkeley Pollard Darr is a strategy and management consultant specializing in helping leaders create and manage change within complex organizations. She guides mission-driven companies and nonprofits in developing shared purpose, eliminating practices that hold back progress, and supporting teams to get the good work done. Bringing to bear the disciplines of strategic planning, brand positioning, fund development, governance, and constituency engagement, Berkeley truly partners with her clients to define goals and the steps needed to reach them. She has helped to advance organizations focused on health, arts and culture, youth development, preservation, and climate change, among other areas. Recent clients include WWF, SourceAmerica, Chautauqua Institution, USO, The Corps Network, PSI, and The Common Application.
Prior to her consulting career, Berkeley served in senior management positions overseeing national and international marketing communications and philanthropy. At The Nature Conservancy, she implemented an integrated planning process across regional business units and a shared resources model providing field offices with marketing and fundraising expertise that elevated performance globally. She also led a multi-year brand identity project – developing and guiding adoption of consistent standards for one of the world’s largest nonprofits – as well as managing corporate partnerships and engagement programs aimed at growing revenue and expanding constituencies. After earning her B.A. from The College of William and Mary, she proudly served two years as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Poland. Berkeley lives in Virginia with her husband and three children.
